Effective Support for Gifted Children
This immersive, fun, adult workshop teaches effective support of children exhibiting intuitive, healing, extrasensory abilities, or past lives.
Parents, teachers, family members will learn ways to speak with & listen to children about their abilities, concerns, and how to help them cope if they're misunderstood and/or ostracized. Workshop activities are geared toward aiding the child with healthy self-esteem and acceptance of themselves and their abilities as naturally occurring.
Workshop includes instruction, educational storytelling, breakout sessions, and opportunities for question and answer. Easy floor/chair body/mind exercises are designed to give attendees a felt sense of their inner child and accordingly their own self-acceptance to further facilitate helping the child. Resources and handouts provided.
As one whose gifts were ignored and a puzzlement to family members, Robin is the perfect person to understand what a gifted child goes through when their abilities are not taken seriously. Knowing that the adults in her world feared her gifts, she hid them from the world well into adulthood though they persisted. Her extensive training in body-centered psychotherapy (heavily reliant on intuition and sensitivity to client states of mind and body) Therapeutic Touch, Shamanism, and various forms of meditation helped her strengthen and resurrect long concealed abilities.

This light-hearted, joyful workshop teaches you to become aware of the wise messages your body gives you, so you may affect positive change, personal growth, and healing. Learn how “stuck” places in your body, relate to feeling stuck in your life, and how to free yourself to be a more vibrant, playful, and creative you. We will connect to and stimulate your creative “center” with a series of lively, fun, and imaginative activities and dance. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat, beach towel or blanket for floor work.

3-D Storytelling
In this interactive workshop we will focus on ways to make your stories come alive! A story is just a story until you add the elements that will bring your audience into the story with you! Take part in creating a first draft, then work on adding details. The last portion of the class will be time for oral sharing of stories and question and answer.

This is for anyone who would like to bring more open-hearted connection into their lives! As we rush about our busy lives we often forget that by connecting with others we can lower our stress levels and create more inner peace and joy. The workshop takes you to all levels of Spirit, Mind, and Body as you connect to your own story and listen to the story of others. We begin by connecting to your own inner child, The Sacred Self, and move quickly toward exercises to help you in that vital connection with others, both known and new to your world. You will laugh and maybe shed a tear or two as you move through these few hours growing deeper in your experience of Love! 3 hours + 15 min.
Sustaining the Flame…Storytelling and Ministry
This entertaining workshop will help you fan the fires of creative storytelling, whether you are new at ministering to others, a seasoned leader in a new parish who wants to connect with your new flock, someone who wants to add more spark to your Sunday morning messages, or one who experiences occasional “writer’s block.” We will focus on what makes a good story good, how to find new stories to share in your worship service, writing and telling a good story, and how to add more “juice” to your leadership repertoire. Learn how to make connections that go beyond the mind to bring your spiritual message into the hearts of parishioners through story. A must for ministers, Sunday school teachers, and anyone who loves to tell stories! 3 hours.
